This was our first all-inclusive. The staff at Couples bend over backward to make sure your stay is great. From carrying your plate to the breakfast table to bringing in a feather bed to help my husband’s bad back. They really go above and beyond, which is amazing considering there is no tipping. The food is phenomenal. Everything we had was so good. My husband gained 10lbs. Red flag service on the beach for a tall cold drink was great. Young Jamaican men who are eager to serve. I cannot say one bad thing about this resort. I highly recommend it.
Couples Negril was everything my wife and I wanted and more. The beach and water are like nowhere else in the carribean. The people are awesome. The variety of resturants and food on the resort are very impressive. Jamaica is a state of mind and Couples Resort really knows what they are doing. It is an every 2 year trip for us!
To me Couples Negril is just about perfect… I’d like it to be on the long beach just for better wind for sailing but otherwise -perfect-. One nice thing is it’s mainly flat and it’s easy for someone who’s mobility impaired to get around… I use a little folding Brompton bicycle (and can walk short distances) but I saw guests in conventional chairs too… no elevator but you can get from pool/restaurant/bar/pool level to front-desk, excursions, etc (upper) level without a ramp or stairs! (or an elevator)… the few small steps that had existed a few years before are largely a thing of the past and it’s a VERY friendly place.
